A little bit about my background

I was five when I entered the world of music. I wasn’t bounded by genres; but folk music, music that preserved tradition is the one that stole my heart.

My family is filled with musicians – my father plays accordion, my mom sang in choir, my uncle plays guitar and my brothers play guitar and drums.

Accordion and piano attracted me the most. My father started teaching me how to play accordion when I was five and I went to primary musical school where classical music enchanted me. There I learned to play piano and I couldn’t wait for my next accordion and piano lessons.

When I was in art high school, I loved playing Mozart’s compositions “Turkish march”, “The Magic Flute”, “Die Entführung aus dem Serail”, “The Marriage of Figaro”, Betoven’s “Für Elise”, Johann Strauss’s “The Blue Danube Waltz” and many more…

After I finished my musical education, I started to teach music theory, piano and accordion to kids. A few years later I began to play in a local band.

Because of these experiences, I had opportunity to try many different musical instruments so I am able to recognize high-quality musical equipment when I see it.

My future plans are to teach my husband to play guitar and to start a family band along my brothers who play guitar, drums and piano. I hope that people will enjoy listening to us J

Also, I want to share my wonderful musical experiences and an advice or two with people, and thus, MusicGearGirl.com was born!
